WAYPOINT River RANCH

An adoption from Waypoint Ranch is a lifelong commitment
We are committed to ensuring the overall well-being of every one we encounter, and that includes our canine and equine members. We support veterans and kids while they mutually heal from injuries, both visible and invisible.

If you are interested in adopting one of our horses, please read the information below and fill out an adoption application.

Our number one goal is matching horse to the adopter. For horses, we want to ensure that the adopter is choosing a horse that is suitable for his/her skill level and riding discipline. Adopting the "wrong" horse can lead to disillusionment, unhappiness, fear, or even injury.

We are committed to each and every horse that comes to our ranch and invest much time, energy, love and money into their health and well-being.

Once you adopt a horse from Waypoint Ranch, you can never sell, trade or give it away. If for any reason you cannot keep the horse or dog to the end of its natural life, you must notify us. We reserve the right to either take the horse back or find another suitable home.
If you are interested in adopting, please submit an adoption application. After we receive your application, we will assess whether we have a horse that may fit your family. At that point, we will make an appointment for you to come to our ranch to meet the animal(s) you are considering adopting. Prior to, or on upon arrival at the ranch, you will be required to pay a $50 application fee. Often, a connection is immediate. Other times, more than one visit may be necessary. Should you wish to proceed with the adoption, we will ask for references and make a visit to your home or the boarding facility.
Our companion animals have adoption fees ranging from $150 - $500. Horses that are ride-able have adoption fees starting at $600 and increasing from there based upon the horse's history and training level.
